General Description
The M17A1 Fire Control Quadrant is the backup system for manually setting the howitzer’s elevation (the primary means is provided by the M18A1 Fire Control Quadrant). The M17A1 attaches to the M171 Telescope Mount.
The M17A1 Fire Control Quadrant is used on the M777 and M198 howitzers.
