General Description
The M45 Boresight is used to detect deflection and elevation errors in the mortar sight unit. It has a body with machined surfaces which is then attached or clamped to the mortar tube. A fixed-focus elbow telescope and body assembly is used with a distant aiming point to align the mortar tube and verify that the mortar sight unit is accurate.
